Me about facebook

I have to admit, initially I thought that facebook is a clumsy piece of software, and I consciously ignored it for quite some time (frankly, maybe I still do ...) . It makes you get in touch with people who you like, but also those that maybe you don't. Your friends as well as your enemies get to know most of the things about you, whether you like it or not. The only way to protect yourself from it is not to play the game, but then, you are out of the game ... it is addictive, it lowers one's creativity, but on the other hand it is an eye opener, it sets directions for small to big scale social movements, it makes us community aware and it lowers the gaps between generations. It has become the platform for exhibitionism and voyeurism, platform for political campaigns as well as humanitarian causes, platform for escapists whether playing poker or just watching other people living their dreams. No matter what, no matter whether good or bad, whether we like it or not, it is HAPPENING, and those who ignore it will have something to lose by the day ...
